There are ATM machines available throughout Dubai. Major European cards and other bank cards are accepted. Also, there is an option of English language instructions in the machine. Though it is advisable to inform your bank in advance about your visit to Dubai as some of the banks automatically stop the card once you are out of the country.
What should visitors dress in Dubai?
It is advisable to wear comfortable, casual clothes while on tours. Also, it is expected from a visitor to respect the Islamic culture/ tradition and dress accordingly. Dubai is a little more liberal than the other Emirates.

Usually, shops, banks, etc. opens around 10am (there could be exceptions). It is quite similar to India but during summers, many shops are closed from 1pm to 4pm as people do not prefer been outside during summers.

Which is the best time to visit Dubai?
Tourists prefer visiting Dubai mostly between November and April when the hot Sun is at rest and cool winds blow during evenings & nights. Even if you visit the city during the rest of the months you will find the air-conditioned hotels, malls and other complexes well-equipped to easily keep off the heat.
